White Paper for grassland opportunities
Policymakers can support new opportunities for farmers and rural businesses to enhance the sustainable use of grasslands.
The bioeconomy can thus be decisively supported at the field level, e.g. by supporting best practices for the development of innovative and replicable grassroots business models.
To help with this, GO-GRASS has analyzed relevant data and evidence for policy action and published a list of recommendations in this White Paper to promote solutions and sustainable products using grass and green fodder.
As the project is still in the midst of its final year of funding and continues to produce interesting results, this is a preliminary discussion draft.
The final White Paper will be published at the end of the project (2024), supplemented with further relevant findings.
